Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW) is a biannual culinary celebration that showcases the rich and diverse food scene of the greater Seattle area. Held each spring and fall, this event invites diners to explore curated menus at various price points—$20, $35, $50, and $65—across a wide array of restaurants, bars, cafes, food trucks, and pop-ups. The upcoming SRW is scheduled from March 30 to April 12, 2025.
SRW is an initiative of the Seattle Good Business Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a vibrant local economy. In 2012, the network took over the decade-old dining promotion, Dine Around Seattle, and transformed it into what is now known as Seattle Restaurant Week. The event has grown significantly over the years, with the fall 2024 iteration featuring over 260 participating restaurants, making it the largest SRW to date.
One of the primary goals of SRW is to encourage diners to explore new culinary experiences and support local businesses. By offering specially priced menus, the event lowers the barrier for patrons to try different cuisines and establishments they might not typically visit. This not only broadens the gastronomic horizons of the community but also provides restaurants with an opportunity to attract new customers and showcase their offerings.
The Eastside of Seattle boasts a vibrant dining scene, and several establishments have become favorites among locals and visitors alike. Here are a few noteworthy mentions:
WildFin American Grill – Issaquah: Known for its commitment to sustainable seafood and locally sourced ingredients, WildFin offers a menu that celebrates the flavors of the Pacific Northwest.
Purple Café and Wine Bar – Woodinville: This establishment combines an extensive wine selection with a menu that blends classic American styles with seasonal Northwest ingredients, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and food lovers.
COMO – Kirkland: Offering a modern take on Italian cuisine, COMO provides guests with a dining experience that emphasizes fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Washington.
Volterra – Kirkland: Specializing in Tuscan-inspired dishes, Volterra combines rustic flavors with elegant presentation, earning it a cherished spot in the hearts of many diners.
Mioposto – Mercer Island: This pizzeria and Italian kitchen is celebrated for its wood-fired pizzas and cozy neighborhood ambiance, making it a popular choice for casual dining.
