Pacific Northwest Family Holiday Activity Guide

Blog Kristi Jenkins December 15, 2025

The holiday season in the Pacific Northwest has a magic all its own. Twinkling lights, festive markets, cozy treats, and family traditions that linger long after the celebrations end. As a mom who raised two kids right here in our community, I’ve spent years exploring every holiday activity, event, and hidden gem within a short drive of home. Some were simple afternoon outings, while others turned into full family adventures that my kids still talk about today.
Whether you're new to the area, looking for something fresh to try, or simply hoping to make the most of the season, I want this to be your trusted local resource. The holidays can feel overwhelming with so many events happening at once, but this curated list highlights only the experiences that are truly worth your time.
And while I specialize in Washington real estate, helping families find the neighborhoods and communities that feel like home, I also love sharing the traditions, celebrations, and local favorites that make living here so special. This guide goes beyond Sammamish, because the most memorable holiday moments often happen just 10–20 minutes down the road.

Each one delivers a different take on holiday lights, animals, and hands-on activities kids love.
As someone deeply rooted in this community and passionate about helping families make the most of living here, I love sharing some of my favorite holiday experiences and local traditions. These are spots I’ve visited with my own kids, walked through festive events, and made memories that still bring us joy each year.
I hope these recommendations inspire some special holiday moments for your family this season.
And if you ever want local tips, or guidance on neighborhoods, schools, or finding a home that truly fits your family, I’m always happy to help.
